The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credentialing system.
It trains, develops, assesses and recognises individuals for the key competencies that companies look for in potential employees.
Project Dignity Private Limited forms the training arm of Dignity Kitchen with an aim to preserve the heritage of our local cuisine.
To educate and to enable with commitment and passion to advance the interest in the hawker trade.
A Continuing Education and Training (CET) center for Food & Beverage Training since 2012, we are able to develop and offer programmes of Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) standards, which are conducted in a functional food court. This allows students to gain real-time experience, have hands-on learning opportunities and benefit from a dynamic working environment.
With counseling and career guidance, our Placement Services equip our graduates with enhanced professionalism and in-depth knowledge on the hawker food trade and boosts their employability.
Koh Seng Choon – Executive Director
Mr. Koh held esteemed positions on established corporations such as the Restaurant Association of Singapore, before initiating and developing Dignity Kitchen. Today, he guides the direction of Project Dignity’s growth and continues to be an inspiration for all who work with him.
Yeo Hiok Keat – General Manager
A seasoned F&B manager, Mr. Yeo ensures that the operations of Project Dignity run smoothly alongside Dignity Kitchen. He also oversees the employability of graduates of Project Dignity, securing placement opportunities with established companies.
Loy Teck Wee – Head of Operation
With several decades of experience as a chef in countries such as Bermuda, Canada and Singapore, Mr. Loy helms the training division with a focus on technical knowledge pertaining to specific cooking skills.
Eric Chia Heng Lee – Head of Training
Eric is a passionate chef and currently lends his expertise, training students pursuing courses and sharing this wealth of knowledge acquired while working in Beijing and Singapore. His experience as chef has made a mark in various gourmet competitions in the region while his aptitude to teach has groomed numerous chefs from esteemed culinary schools.
Russell Kwan Siew Meng – Trainer
A Hawker-Master trainee and eloquent leader, Mr.Russell lends his expertise by conducting informative training sessions.
Evelyn Ho – Executive
An experienced administrator, Ms. Evelyn Ho oversees the registration procedures and ensures that the candidates’ interests and capability development pathways are closely aligned.
Angelina Low – Assistant Executive
Ms. Low is the primary gatekeeper of the CET centre and offers her administrative expertise into organizing the relevant information needed for grants and subsidies awarded.
