SkillsFuture is a national movement that aims to inculcate lifelong learning and skills upgrading in Singaporeans regardless of where they are in their careers. It is an initiative aimed at students, working adults, professionals in early to mid-career to realise their goals in the industry of interest.

Every year, Singaporeans aged 25 years and above get an opening SkillsFuture credit amount of $500. These credits have no expiration date and the government provides periodic top-ups.

All our courses are currently SkillsFuture credit claimable.

The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) is a national credential system that supports adult workers in their skills upgrading and training efforts.

WSQ training is accessible to all Singapore/PR workers regardless of their skills or qualification level.

The WSQ system supports SkillsFuture Singapore, which aims to encourage life-long learning and skills upgrading in Singaporeans.

We currently offer 19 SkillsFuture credit courses under the WSQ Food and Beverage Framework.

From basic food hygiene safety to halal cooking, Chinese rice and noodle dishes, the courses conducted with Dignity Learn are contextualised, and adopted a practical-based, learner-focused approach.

Yes we conduct basic hygiene and refresher courses. Both courses are available in English and Chinese.

Yes. All Dignity Learn courses are WSQ-based and at the end of each modular course, learners are conferred upon a Statement of Attainment.

For those looking to pursue the F&B profession seriously, you are advised to pursue specific courses to attain a higher level of certification, like the WSQ Certificate in Culinary Arts or the WSQ Certificate in Food and Beverage Operations.

For e.g., the WSQ Certificate in Culinary Arts requires a Statement of Attainment in the following courses all offered at Dignity Learn:

  1. Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures
  2. Maintain Quality Control Procedures
  3. Maintain Food & Beverage Production Environment
  4. Prepare Mise En Place
  5. Maintain Safe and Secure Working Environment

For questions regarding the certificate, please get in touch with our head trainer, Loy Teck Wee at loyteckwee@projectdignity.sg.

Absolutely. However, as we currently only offer WSQ-based courses at our present location, you are still required to complete a theory and practical assessment (competent/non-competent grading).

This also means that all learners (Singaporeans/PR) can enjoy WSQ subsidies of up to 95%. Singaporeans can use their SkillsFuture credits to pay for courses after subsidies.

We are looking to offer non-WSQ courses soon so do check this page for any updates.

Note: Both WSQ and non-WSQ courses are SkillsFuture credit claimable.
